"Gado-gado di sini berisikan tahu bacem, kubis iris tipis, buncis rebus, wortel rebus, irisan bawang Bombay, tauge rebus, telur setengah butir. Seluruh komponen tadi ditata pada piring ukuran standart yang kemudian disiram dengan bumbu kacang. Bumbu kacang disini sepertinya sudah dimasak sebelumnya, gilingan kacang masih bertekstur, manis, dan gurih. Porsinya pas, mengenyangkan. Kerupuk disajikan terpisah dalam plastic dengan porsi cukup banyak menurutku. Tapi menurutku, tipe bumbu gado-gado di sini berbeda dengan di Jogja yang sering aku termui. Di Jogja aku sering menemui gado-gado siram yang bumbunya medhok, pekat, manis, dan seperti ada gurih santan. Penjual merupakan sepasang kakek nenek yang mungkin usianya sudah diatas 70 tahun. Saat aku datang, tidak berhenti kakek nenek tersebut menyiapkan pesanan. Selain beilau berdua, ada bebarapa pegawai usia senja juga yang ikut membantu menyiapkan bahan dan pesanan minuman. Senang sekali melihat beliau semua yang diusia senja masih semangat. Dengan cekatan namun juga penuh hati-hati, beliau semua berusaha menyajikan pesanan sebaik mungkin. Sayangnya, karena lokasinya yang berada di pinggir jalan raya dan pas di tikungan, menyebabkan tempat parkir cukup terbatas. Tidak ada tukang parkir, jadi jangan lupa atur kendaraan kita dengan serapi mungkin. ----------------------------------- Gado gado : IDR 18.000 Es Teh : IDR 3.000"

"Underrated, Classic, and authentic! Ini Selat kelihatannya biasa aja tapi rasa kuah pas banget, dagingnya super good, empuk, dan lembut! Tempatnya kecil dan homie, posisi persis seberang apotik sehati... Walau tempat kecil tapi cukup bersih... Untuk gado-gado disini model siram dan cenderung manis, tapi enak! Bakal jadi langganan si, enak soalnya..."
